Question:

If you tithe to a church and don't see anything done for the Lord are we liable for this in God's eyes?

Answer:

If they don't do anything that's one thing, if however you tithe to a church that does destructive things (by that I'm talking about false teaching) there is scripture that tells you the relationship. In II John verses 9-11 it states if anyone comes to you that does not have the doctrine of Christ you are not to have them into your house and don't wish them God's speed (which is simply a salutation like have a nice day). Verse 11 goes on to state that he that wishes him God's speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

Comment:

Can a church have evil deeds? How can a church that is established in it's community and known for real earnest and hard working honest family people have a closet full of evil deeds? What if they thought what they were doing was promoting our Father but in actuality was allowing themselves to be manipulated by our enemy? Isn't the greatest enemy the enemy within? You know Judas didn't turn in Christ because he was mad or wanted to get even about something. Judas was trying to usher in the Lord's Day (the Millennium). He thought he would have been helping but instead he played right into the script. I'm telling you he sat next to Christ, ate with Christ, shook Christ's hands and looked him directly in the eye... Think about how close he was, and you are going to sit there and tell me your twisted traditions handed down by generations of denominationalism are in line? Verily I tell you that today's churches are in far more danger than Judas ever was because they are leading the children into the hour of temptation thinking they are fulfilling the word. The sad part is that they are because if you read about it you will find the churches are hooked by the jaw to Satan's bandwagon as their doctrine locks in what they should think... just as it is written they would. If your church speaks in tongues you are first in line! If your church teaches the rapture then you already have your ticket... I'm surprised it doesn't burn?

You will find your answer documented here:

II John 1: 9-11

9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
